Leatt Corporation, world wide distributor of the Leatt-Brace®, the world’s best selling neck brace for Motorsport and Bicycle racing, and USWE International AB, pioneer developer and manufacturer of mobile hydration systems, have announced a business partnership regarding LEATT by USWE branded hydration systems.
The partnership is effective immediately and has the primary focus on core premium hydration system products for Enduro, Motocross and Bicycling. The product strategy is to combine neck braces and back protectors with hydration systems in a very flexible way to provide riders with hydration great options.
BRACE PACK SYSTEM, LEATT by USWEThe SP1 Fuelpack is a revolutionary mobile hydration system, creating a new market in international offroad Motorcycle and Bicycle racing. The construction is based on a special developed Liquid pack, easily strapped directly on to the neck support of the neck protection, giving a well balanced fit. This enables the rider to combine neck support and a hydration system in a very flexible way. The SP1 Fuelpack includes a unique helmet hands free kit (HHF), enabling the rider to drink completely hands free, without letting the grip of the handlebar. The helmet kit offers optimal time efficiency and has a positive influence on the rider safety when riding. This is an optimal hydration system for Motocross, Enduro and Freeride Bicycling. * SP1 Fuelpack HHF, Liquid capacity: 0,5L (18oz) Weight: 113g (4.0oz), fits to all the brace models from Leatt-Brace®.
HARNESS PACK SYSTEM, LEATT by USWEThe H2 Fuelpack is a high performance mobile hydration system based on an ultra light hydration harness. The construction gives a fantastic flexible and stable fit on the upper body where the Liquid container is fixed tight on the back which prevents a “bumping tank”. The ergonomic fit of the harness angle allows free and forceful body movements, without impairing safety and comfort by the Leatt-Brace®, and the absorption of oxygen of the muscles of the upper body and arms. The buckles of the one size harness permits a large number of adjustment possibilities, facilitating the adjustment to different body constitutions. This is an outstanding hydration system for Enduro, XC and Freeride Bicycling. The H2 Fuelpack will be available in two options: * H2 Fuelpack, Liquid capacity: 2,5L (85oz), Weight: 307g (10.9oz) includes the full length Hose kit. * H2 Fuelpack HHF, Liquid capacity: 2,5L (85oz),Weight: 307g (10.9oz) includes the Helmet hands free kit.
The first LEATT by USWE products will be released in the US market in December 2010 through the LEATT US dealer network and world-wide in March 2011 through LEATT’s extensive network of dealers and distributors.
